During Housing Transition Services Ability Care Services agents will help approved person plan for, find, and move into stable housing. This may include:

  • Assisting approved person in making choices about their preferred housing based on their needs such as handicap accessible housing for people with physical disability or elderly.
  • Assisting eligible applicants in housing search, scheduling tours, application process, explaining the lease contracts and other documents related to leasing etc.
  • Assisting applicants in developing a budget, help them plan their spending so they can afford housing or to assist them in setting up online payment to avoid being late in paying rent
  • Assisting applicants by connecting them with services and resources that will enable them to pay their rent such as housing vouchers hence maintaining stable housing
